Every YouTube channel has a "normal" performance level — the median view count of their last 90 days of long-form videos. The outlier score tells you how much a specific video overperformed that channel's normal.

• 1.0x = exactly average for that channel
• 2.0x = double their average (our minimum threshold today is 1.7x)
• 5.0x+ = serious breakout — something about this video resonated way harder than usual
• 10x+ = viral within their channel's audience

High score doesn't always mean it's a fit for David. That's what the ICA fit score (1-10) tells you: how well the topic matches our avatar (married men, marriage failing, want responsibility). Low ICA = good hook craft but wrong audience.
